ARCHIVING/RETRIEVALS
All jobs done in Eugene Exhibits's Digital Department are archived on tape and available
for later retrieval for re-use. If you wish to retrieve a
job from over 3 years ago, please call for information. Archived
material includes scans (provided or in-house), layouts, and
illustrations.There are charges associated with retrievals.
In-House
Transfer Media
Graphic images often require large files. We are able to accept
the following types of transfer media in IBM or MAC unless
noted. We cannot start on your job until we have files loaded
in-house, so please read this list of transfer media accepted
before you send us files. Please note type, physical size
(in inches) and storage size ( in megabytes) to check for
compatibility. Please send a laser printer copy or other mock-up
of your files to ensure accuracy:
• CD Rom (including
CD-R and CD-Rewritable)
• 100 or 250 MB Iomega Zip Drive
• 1 or 2 GB Iomega Jaz Drive
• 120 MB SuperDisk
• 128, 230, or 640 MB Magneto Optical - 3.5"
• 44MB, 88MB or 200MB Syquest - 5.25"
• 1.3 GB Optical - 5.25"
• 135 Meg EZ Syquest -3.5"
• 4mm DAT tape saved with RETROSPECT (include disk with
catalog) (Mac only)
• 31/2" 2MB floppies
Digital
to Go
Your images and files can be transferred to media provided
by you or by E2G. Indicate your media of choice from the media
charge list. If you require us to organize your images in
a certain directory structure, we will charge a digital service
charge.
FTP
file transfer
You can upload to us your graphics files such as fonts, illustrations,
small raster files, etc. To ftp to us, please visit our FTP-Uploads
area. You must first contact
a customer service person to arrange a password, discuss the
job, and reserve the room on our ftp server. Please call us
for more information or to set up an ftp file transfer.
