COMPUTER
GRAPHICS PROGRAMS (*Recommended programs)
Expo Exhibits can output your files when provided to us in
the following formats:
| QuarkXPress* |
Adobe PhotoShop* |
Adobe Illustrator* |
CorelDraw |
| MS PowerPoint |
Macromedia
Freehand |
Adobe PageMaker |
Harvard Graphics |
If your programs used are
not listed above, please save as follows:
Imaging Programs, save as RGB TIF files or other formats
that can be opened in Adobe PhotoShop.
Vector Programs, save in native or raw format, or as
EPS that can be opened in Adobe Illustrator.
Quark
X-press*
Send native files. Colors should be specified in Pantone.
Any placed images must be included on your job disk. Send
native files for each placed image, and refer to the instructions
below for set-up. Send all printer and screen fonts used.
Send a laser print of each page to output.
Adobe
Photoshop*
Send native files. Photoshop has powerful filters for importing
raster files. Text elements should be added in a layout program
if unpixelized text is required. Save as Photoshop, TIFF or
EPS if clipping paths are used. Use an RGB color scheme. Leave
at input resolution, do not interpolate up to output resolution.
Because of our high resolution output, excessive un-sharp
masking will cause an undesirable image fringe or "halo"
effect. Send a laser print of each page to output.
Other
Raster files
Save as TIF or EPS
Use an RGB color scheme.
Do not interpolate up to output resolution.
Because of the high resolution of our film recorder,
excessive un-sharp masking will cause an undesirable image
fringe or "halo" effect.
Text elements should be added in a layout program if
unpixelized text is required. Send a laser print of each page
to output.
ADOBE
Illustrator*
Send native files. Colors should be specified in Pantones.
Do not embed raster images in Illustrator, otherwise we will
not be able to tune each raster to our output. Instead, link
them in the document and send all rasters used as separate
files. If you have not saved all text as curves or outlines
send all printer and screen fonts used, but be aware that
if you do this, we may not be able to edit the text for you
later. Send a laser print of each page to output.
Freehand
Send native files. Specify all colors as Pantones. Do not
embed raster images in, otherwise we will not be able to tune
each raster to our output. Instead, link them in the document
and send all rasters used as separate files. If you have not
saved all text as curves-outlines send all printer and screen
fonts used. Send a laser print of each page to output.
Pagemaker
Send native files. Colors should be specified in Pantones.
Any linked images must be included on your job disk, regardless
of whether they are embedded or not. Send native files for
each linked image, and refer to program instructions for set-up.
Send all printer and screen fonts used. Send a laser print
of each page to output.
MS-PowerPoint
Send native files. Powerpoint is not a powerful graphics program,
and as such imposes limitations. Colors cannot be adjusted
or guaranteed. Placed images may print low res and must be
sent along with the job. Send all printer and screen fonts
used. Send a laser print of each page to output.
Corel
Draw
Send native files. Colors should be specified in Pantones.
Any linked images must be included on your job disk. Send
native files for each linked image, and refer to program instructions
for set-up. Send all printer and screen fonts used. Send a
laser print of each page to output. pg2
