COLOR, FLEX, AND B&W
PRINTS
COLOR
PRINTS (C-Prints) Lambda and Conventional
Our paper-based photo prints are made from negatives, copy
negatives, or digital files. Normally we print on semi-matte
surface paper, however, other surfaces are available upon
a special order basis. All of our color prints are individually
crafted, and made according to your specifications. Lambda
C-Prints are available to 48" widths (by any length);
Conventional C-Prints are available to 72" widths. (Conventional
prints to this size from digital images require a Fire negative
output; please see our digital photographic output page for
more information.)
Color
Flex Prints
Color Flex gives snappy, vivid detail, better color saturation
and a glossy finish, along with a durable polyester base.
Color Flex can be hung, mounted or rolled for easy packing
& shipping. Flex Prints are the central ingredient of
our POLYFLEX PANELS.
B&W
Prints
We use Lambda C-Print paper to image high quality Black and
White images from digital files. Our Conventional Black and
White prints are printed on genuine B&W paper. The B&W
paper we use is silver rich, so you get deep blacks with brilliant
whites.Conventional B&W prints can be made from originals
or copy negatives. B&W paper prints are available in panel
widths up to 48", Our standard surface is semi-matte,
with other surfaces available in selected sizes.
Monochromatic
Prints on Color Material
Monochromatic images are printed on color paper available
up to 72" wide. B&W images can be printed as B&W
or with mono-tone, duo-tone or tri-tone effects. Bear in mind
when working with duo-tones that photography can duplicate
a printed duotone in only certain cases since color photographic
processes are additive. For instance, if you are working with
complementary colors, an undesired third color may occur in
the image because of color mixing.
